Hope for The Holidays: Adopt A Family

We all know the holidays get busy, so this year AMCF is doing Christmas early!

Join us the whole month of August by shopping for the children and families of UMOM New Day Centers experiencing homelessness, so that their holidays can be filled with joy and cheer . Giving back has never been more fun and easy! 

Step 1:

 Tell us how many parents and/or children you would like to "adopt" by clicking "Sign Up Here" on the right.

Step 2: 

 Collect items through the end of August

Step 3:

 Deliver items to AMA by September 6

Step 4:

 Stop by the AMCF Big Hearts Community Service Hub at the AMA Trade Show on September 12 to help us wrap all of the items up and get ready for delivery to the families of UMOM New Day Centers.

Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Children:

Please purchase 3-5 items per child, valued between $25-$45. All items must be able to fit into a standard 9"x20" stocking. Please do not wrap items. Stocking purchase optional.

Stocking stuffer gift guide divided by age groups: 0-2 years (wipes, rattles, blankets, etc.), 3-5 years (stickers, playdough, toy cars, etc.), 6-9 years (glow sticks, fidget toys, art supplies, etc.), 10-13 years (bookmarks, card games, journals, etc.), and 14-18 years (books, art kits, makeup, etc.). Includes festive red backgrounds and photos of children and teens.

Items For Parents:

$25 Target or Walmart gift cards also accepted. Please do not wrap items. 

A Christmas-themed wish list with 18 household items, including laundry basket, dish soap, trash bags, and toothpaste, on a decorated background with gifts and festive symbols.
